- The title of the film comes up at the begining and appears as spaced out capital letters in a blue font with a black background and fades into the first shot of the polaroid.
- The setting is revealed to the viewer at the end of the opening title sequence and is shown when the scene that just happend is reversed.
- Key props used to reveal things to the viewer is a bullet which shows that someone has been shot and a pair of glasses on the floor with blood splattered on them which shows that someone has been injured, probably shot due to the bullet, and their glasses have fallen off.
- The font placement and style of the title sequence is that its simple and clear and central but over an interesting background which captures the audiences attention.
- Most of the camera work is close-ups so not much detail is given away to the audience and it keeps then interested, wanting to know what will happen next.
- The opening sequence relates to the rest of the film as it is a polaroid which is vital to the main character as he needs to have photos of what he's done and who he's met as he has short term memory loss. Also the fact the poloroid is being develped is reversed so the picture fades could also represent how the main characters memory fades and he forgets.
- The music used during the titles it very erie and mysterious, it's simple which doesn't reveal much to the audience as in really loud scary music or happy music, the mysteriousness keeps the audience on edge and unsure of whats happening.
- A technique of editing used is when the polaroid is reversed, it show the picture and rewinds the developing, the indicates how the film works, it works backwards.
